Tindi Mar

The Mexican face that has been taking over European runways

Guadalajara is famous for many reasons, including its beautiful women. Tindi Mar is a perfect example. The Mexican model has been shining in some of the world’s most elegant runways while also becoming the first Mexican to star in the cover of Vogue Paris, in 2021. That same year, she made her debut at Paris Fashion Week, modeling for Louis Vuitton.

At the age of 28, the Mexican model became one of the best in the business, working with some of the most exclusive fashion houses in Europe.”

Before her career as a model, Mar was a contestant at Mexicana Universal, the beauty pageant, and studied agricultural science and clinical nutrition. Her education was incredibly formative and allowed her to explore her passions of activism and sustainability. This conviction is something that matters to her to this day.

Mar is a part of Los Guayabos, a community of under 100 residents located in Zapopan, Jalisco. The community was formed over 40 years ago with the goal of promoting harmony with nature. Throughout her stay in the community, the model takes part in many activities, cultivating her own food and being involved in sustainable practices that benefit the environment in the future, including reducing the use of vehicles.

Drawing and caring for animals are also among some of Mar’s passions.
