When we care about people we try our best to make them happy. It's not just romantic relationships that cause us to become agreeable and obliging. Some of us have a natural desire to please people. Even folk who try to resist over-helping others can't stop themselves from doing it from time to time. The problem is that, in our efforts to make someone else happy, we can lose sight of our own needs to such an extent that we forget who we are. A relationship will benefit from an adjustment today.
