How are you doing? When you're competing in a sporting event, with judges and scores, it's an easy question to answer. In day-to-day life, it's not so simple. We have to rely on our own evaluation. 'I'm enjoying myself. I must be doing well'. Or the opposite. Perhaps other people are assessing us; but no one has the right to judge us (or we them). One way to tell how we're doing is to gauge our reaction to the question. If it strikes fear, we're not doing well. There's no reason for you to feel that way today.
