The tennis star took to her Instagram to pen a heartfelt message to her and fiancé Alexis Ohanian’s unborn child, while revealing that she reclaimed the number one spot on the Women's Tennis Association's rankings. “My Dearest Baby, You gave me the strength I didn’t know I had,” the mom-to-me began her post. “You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace. I can’t wait to meet you. I can’t wait for you to join the players box next year. But most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you…once again today. On @alexisohanian bday. From the world’s oldest number one to the world’s youngest number one. –Your Mommy.”

Attached to the message, Serena, who is enjoying a babymoon in Mexico, shared a photo of herself cradling her growing baby bump in a bikini. Serena announced last week via Snapchat that she is expecting her first child. The professional athlete revealed her pregnancy sharing a selfie that showed off her baby bump in a yellow swimsuit. In the caption, Serena simply wrote, "20 weeks." On April 24, Alexis posted an illustration of his pregnant fiancée and himself on Reddit, which he captioned: "A new Snoo is on the way!"

The parents-to be announced their engagement back in December. Serena shared the news on her verified Reddit account writing, "I came home/ A little late/ Someone had a bag packed for me/ And a carriage awaited.
