Although it's been a few days since Mariah Carey'sperformance at New Year's celebration in Times Square, New York, it seems no one has forgotten the bumpy gig she offered to millions of people. The diva had many problems interpreting her songs, and furious, left the stage. Through her social media, the singer spoke about that painful fact: "Things happen. Have a happy and healthy new year everybody! Here's to making more headlines in 2017."

After that bitter episode, "Mimi" decided to take refuge in Aspen and tweeted a photograph in a revealing swimsuit with gold sequins. Mariah's team blamed the company that took over the sound because the headphones did not work properly and made her believe that everything would work well when she was on stage. Clark Productions, the company responsible for the event, was outraged by the accusations made by the singer.

"They have not formally apologized to her. It's disgusting," says Carey's representative, who said she was in perfect shape and has chosen to ignore this situation. "She’s got so many more important things to do. She should have walked off and thrown the mic at somebody’s head — that would have been a great moment." On lip-syncing, Stella said, "No. It’s not lip-syncing. Lip-syncing is when people don’t sing at all."
