It turns out, makeup artist, Carl Ray is behind her gorgeous luminous makeup looks. After auditioning for the big job, the MUA joined the First Lady’s glam squad and it’s been history ever since.

Carl has been working with the former FLOTUS for the past ten years alongside other distinguished political powerhouses such as Nancy Pelosi and Sonia Sotomayor.

The celebrity makeup artist explained that his goal was and will always be to bring out her natural glow. According to Carl, the former FLOTUS is always rocking a nude lip and perfect glow.
