As the founder, Rihanna has always been the face of the brand, but now she's enlisted another fierce and powerful lady to help spread Fenty Beauty's inclusive mission, which is to help every woman "feel beautiful and recognized, no matter their race, ethnicity, culture or personal style.” Meet Amandla Stenberg, the actress, activist and all around cool chic who will now be serving up lewks that you will most definitely want to copy.

The 20-year-old actress started working at an early age—she played a younger version of Zoe Saldana in the thriller flick Colombiana—and has skyrocketed to fame since. She starred alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the The Hunger Games, and more recently, has been the protagonist in Everything, Everything and The Hate U Give. Just as her career has blossomed, so has her style.

One look at Amandla's Instagram feed, and you'll notice that she flawlessly embodies the Fenty Beauty brand. She's powerful, fearless and loves to push the envelope when it comes to her beauty and fashion choices. She's chopped off her hair, worn silver aluminum as eyeliner and even highlights her armpit hair at movie premieres.

“I wanted to become a part of the Fenty Family because it’s one of the few beauty brands that make me feel like myself," Amandla shared about this new chapter. "Fenty Beauty’s whole ethos makes me feel empowered and excited to let different facets of myself shine.”

Rihanna hand-picked the 20-year-old actress herself

Another reason why the actress is perfect for this brand ambassador role is that it aligns with her social activism. In October 2018, Amandla was featured on the cover of Time Magazine as a "Next Generation Leader," which is someone, in this case a celebrity, who uses their platform to create positive change in society and spark conversations in important topics, including intersectional feminism, cultural appropriation mindfulness, sexual identity, biracial identity and beauty standards.

It's no surprise Rihanna hand-picked Amandla herself. As is stated in their mission, Fenty Beauty is “more than makeup; it’s a community that supports and uplifts each other.” With Amanda as the new face of the brand, this message will spread across all types of women.

Besides sharing her excitement on Instagram, the Everything Everything actress also revealed her favorite Fenty Beauty products.  The Match Stix Matte and Shimmer Skinsticks are her favorites because they "are wonderful for on-the-go highlighting and bronzing, and I’m always about having a lil glow going," she said, adding that they're the perfect products for your makeup bags. "Plus, they stick together with magnets, which ensure they’ll never break apart in your bag.”
