When it comes to working the red carpet and making her presence known, Cardi B takes the crown. The female rapper turned heads at the Billboard Music Awards from head to toe. Latina MUA Erika La' Pearl was the mastermind behind her neutral smokey eyeshadow matching her dress with purple and pink eyeliner and a nude glossy lip. “Cardi’s favorite POND’S products are POND’S Dry Skin Cream and POND’S Cleansing Balm. Cardi gravitates to these two products because of the harshness of the lighting from performing and walking the red carpet," Erika told us.

According to the Latina MUA, "Pond's Cleansing Balm is good for removing her makeup and impurities. It leaves her skin soft and silky."

The Bodak Yellow star wore a divine mustard yellow two-piece gown that showed off her stomach and fit legs. When it came to creating a flawless canvas, Erika used her gown as inspiration.

“My inspiration was her dress. I loved the color. It blended well with her skin tone and the jewels were amazing. I felt her makeup shouldn’t overpower it, but instead, be more subtle. My inspiration was the beauty within,” explained the MUA.

Then she applied Anastasia Beverly Hills for her makeup. For Cardi’s eyebrows, the makeup guru used Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in "Ash Brown, $18, along with the Anastasia Brow Wiz in "Dark Brown," $21.

"For her eyes, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera eyeshadow palette, $45." The Latina MUA used the colors "Monte Carlo" and coastline for her lids, she used Palermo, Seychelles and Sails by Anastasia. "To bring it all together, I used Starlet lashes by House of Lashes," explained Erika.

For Cardi’s lips, the MUA kept it simple with Freya lip gloss from Anastasia's collection.
