The annual show is set to be hosted by The Voice star Carson Daly, introducing A-list musical guests for the virtual event, taking place across the country.
Among the artists performing on the popular show, the viewers will be able to watch the legendary Kylie Minogue, who recently released her acclaimed album Disco, Gwen Stefani who is expecting to reinvent herself once again, as she just announced on social media.
The talented and unstoppable duo Chloe x Halle, Bebe Rexha featuring Doja Cat, CNCO, Goo Goo Dolls, Blake Shelton, Sting featuring Shirazee and Busta Rhymes featuring Anderson Paak.
NBC will also be organizing a countdown highlighting the most entertaining videos and iconic moments of the year, naming it New Year’s Eve: Escape From 2020.
Amber Ruffin from The Amber Ruffin Show, and Stephen tWitch Boss from The Ellen DeGeneres Show, will also be joining as hosts, going live from different spots in the country and entertaining the audience from their homes.
The network will not have spectators during the performances, as well as the popular ball drop in Times Square, which will not allow crowds during the event, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The show is expected to bring much needed entertainment, closing the year with amazing performances and promising a fresh start for 2021.
