Sweden's Princess Adrienne's royal christening photo album

Princess Adrienne Josephine Alice, Duchess of Blekinge was born on March 9 to her parents Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher O'Neill. On their fifth wedding anniversary, their youngest daughter celebrated her christening with a host of family and friends. Here is a look at the sweetest and best moments from the Swedish royal family's newest member's big day. 

Inside of the Drottningholm Palace Chapel in Stockholm, Madeleine held on to her baby girl during the special ceremony, held in front of family and friends. 

It's your day! Adrienne shared a moment with Officiant Archbishop Antje Jackelen as she lifted the little royal up, giving guests a look at her beautiful heirloom gown.

King Carl XVI Gustaf stroked the head of Princess Adrienne, who is his seventh grandchild, during one of the sweeter moments of the ceremony. The baby girl is 10th in line to the Swedish throne.

The godparents took part in the blessing during the ceremony. Among the selected godparents are Chris O'Neill's niece, a family friend, and the husband of one of Princess Madeleine's closest pals.

The six godparents are: Anouska d’Abo, Charlotte Kreuger Cederlund, Coralie Charriol Paul, Nader Panahpour, Baron Gustav Thott and Natalie Werner.

Princess Adrienne honored her family on her big day. Adrienne – whose christening date coincides with the wedding anniversary of her parents, Princess Madeleine and Chris O'Neill – wore the same gown that was first worn by Prince Gustaf Adolf in 1906 and has been passed down through royal generations of babies including King Carl XVI Gustaf, Princess Madeleine and Prince Carl Philip.

Madeleine cradled the guest of honor while Chris held on to their two-year-old son Prince Nicolas. However, it was four-year-old Princess Leonore who stole the show and opted not to wear shoes for the special occasion.

Princess Leonore, wearing a white cap-sleeved dress, seemed just as interested in the gravel as she was in her little sister's big day!

Proud grandparents Queen Silvia of Sweden and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden were the picture of happiness as they celebrated granddaughter Princess Adrienne's special moment with all of their grandchildren.

Future queen Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel stayed close to their son Prince Oscar. The tot was dressed in adorable shorts and suspenders and a white button-down shirt.

Adrienne's aunt the Crown Princess was in tune with the day's floral fashion trend, wearing a print dress with pussy bow tie neck and a pillbox style hat.

Princess Sofia of Sweden held son Prince Alexander's hand after the Drottningholm Palace Chapel service.

Dressed in his military uniform, dashing Prince Carl Philip was charged with keeping an eye on his little boy, Prince Gabriel.

Bye! Princess Estelle, who is second-in-line to the throne, was spotted giving a royal wave while riding in the car with her mother Crown Princess Victoria.
