The Duchess looked lovely in lavender for the final day of her royal tour of Germany. The royal opted for a bespoke dress by Emilia Wickstead that featured long sleeves and a set-in waistband for her July 21 trip to Hamburg. Kate accessorized her look with a red Anya Hindmarch snakeskin clutch, her Kiki McDonough lavender amethyst pear and oval drop earrings and her trusty Gianvito Rossi praline pumps.

During their visit to the Maritimes Museum, William and Kate were shown a model of the royal yacht Britannia. The model, which was finished two days prior to their visit, astonished Prince William.

The Duke called the version of the ship “beautiful and amazing.” When asked if there were any mistakes he quipped, “I will have a careful look. I will get my magnifying glass out! But I’m not an expert. My father, being a naval man, would know. And my grandmother would definitely spot anything. But it is the most wonderful model.”

On the final day (July 21) of their royal visit of Germany, William and Kate took in the sights and the crowd outside of the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie.

Day 4

The Duchess of Cambridge was a ray of sunshine wearing a yellow brocade dress by Jenny Packham for her visit to Heidelberg. On the second day of their royal tour of Germany (July 20), Kate and William appropriately traveled to the enchanting city that has been twinned with Cambridge, UK since 1965.

The winning team celebrated with barrel of beer. When it came time to opening the barrel, Kate told her husband, "I will let you do that. It’s a man’s job." She added, "It’s going to go everywhere! I’m glad you’re doing this, not me."

In the end, Prince William’s team won the race, but Kate and her crew still received medals. The Duchess was overheard saying, "It’s my first rowing medal. It’s brilliant."

Kate, who admitted prior to the race that she was "worried about crashing," celebrated with a beer once the competition was over. "We didn’t crash!" she saidafter the race.

Day 3

The Cambridge family departed Poland on July 19 to begin the second leg of their royal tour in Germany. Princess Charlotte looked out the window as her private plane landed in Berlin.

Prince William spoke of the UK's relationship with Germany at the garden party. He also delivered a message from his grandmother the Queen that read: "Prince Philip and I send our warmest good wishes to all of you gathered for this special Garden Party, on the occasion of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official visit to Germany.”

“We have fond memories of our five State Visits to Germany, from our first in 1965 to our most recent in 2015. Over the course of those fifty years, British-German relations have thrived, allowing us to face the challenges and embrace the opportunities of the 21st century together,” Her Majesty’s message continued. “I am delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will experience the beauty of this country and the warmth of its people when they visit Berlin, Hamburg and Heidelberg.”

Day 2

Kate opted for a more demure look on the second day of the royal tour. For her somber visit to the former Nazi Concentration Camp, Stutthof, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out wearing a rose print top and midi skirt by Erdem, which she paired with her nude Stuart Weitzman ankle strap sandals.

The Holocaust Educational Trust (HET), a charity committed to educating and raising awareness of the Holocaust in the UK, arranged for The Duke and Duchess to meet with two survivors and learn about the site where 28,000 Jews were murdered during the Holocaust.

The royals were accompanied by two British survivors of the concentration camp, Manfred Goldberg and Zigi Shipper, both 87 from North London.

The Duke and Duchess met with three Polish survivors Maria Kowalska, 91, Mareka Dunin, 92, and Edward Anderson, 91 during their visit to the camp. "You must wonder how people could commit such evil against another human?" William said (via a translator) after listening to the group's harrowing experiences at the hands of the Nazis. Edward said, "After we witnessed these things and lived through them, all we have left as a weapon is the knowledge to warn other people. To stop it happening again." William asked him if he thought people had "learnt lessons" from the Holocaust, to which he replied, "I think we have learnt some lessons but we have not learn enough."

Before leaving the survivors Kate said, "What you have been through and you still hold in your memories must be extremely difficult to speak about. Thank you very much for meeting us."

Prince George's parents paid their respects by placing stones at the Jewish memorial in memory of the 28,000 Jews who died at Stutthof and the 6 million killed in the Holocaust. Mr. Goldberg recited the Jewish memorial prayer, El Maleh Rachamim in front of the Star of David.

During their visit, the British royals were shown discarded shoes, clothing and other personal items that once belonged to the prisoners. William and Kate were also shown the gas chamber that was used to murder those who were too sick to work. Before leaving the camp, the couple wrote in the guest book: "We were immensely moved by our visit to Stutthof. This shattering visit has reminded us of the horrendous murder of six million Jews."

Day 1

Touchdown! Prince George and Princess Charlotte peered through the window of their private jet, which they used for their flight from London to Warsaw. The British royal tots joined their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, on a five day tour of Poland and Germany that began on July 17.

The royals made the trip at the request of The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, marking Their Royal Highnesses' first official joint visit to Poland and Germany.

Outside of the presidential palace in Warsaw, William and Kate were greeted by flowers and screams by royal watchers who had anxiously awaited their arrival.

Polish student Magda Mordaka recalled her interaction with the Duchess saying, “We were telling her that she is beautiful and perfect, but she said it's not true - it's just the make-up.” She added,  “We are fans of the British monarchy. We have a Facebook group. We love her style, and her contact with people. We were waiting for this visit from the very beginning. What would she wear? Would she bring the children?”

The royal duo ventured to the 38th floor of the Spire building in Warsaw to meet with Polish entrepreneurs.

The Duke and Duchess joined the president and first lady for a tour of the Warsaw Rising Museum. The pair paid their respects to the estimated 200,000 Poles who died during the 63-day rebellion against Nazi occupation in 1944.

During the visit, William and Kate put their hands on the pulsating wall – which represents the heartbeat of Warsaw – that could not be stopped by the Nazis.

Kate, who wore a sleeveless dress by Polish designer Gosia Baczynska, stood close as her husband delivered a speech during a garden party celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s birthday.

In his speech, William reflected on his first day in the country and expressed his gratitude to his hosts. “Catherine and I are delighted to be embarking on our first visit to Poland, and we hope to return many times in the years to come,” he said. 

“Mr. President and Mrs. Duda, thank you for your hospitality, and thank you to everyone for the warm welcome you have given us, which underlines the strength of the relationship between our two peoples.”
