The Danish royal family is celebrating a special round of birthdays! Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik’s youngest children, twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, marked their eighth birthday on Tuesday, January 8. To celebrate the special occasion, the royal palace released a series of new portraits. “Today, D.K.H. The portraits were taken by none other than the twins’ mother, Crown Princess Mary. The lead photo shows Josephine, who was born 26 minutes after Vincent, as she stands in front of him and tilts her head. The kids both smize for photo, which was taken outdoors. In her solo shot, Josephine wears a red and black striped shirt with a grey jacket underneath. The royal daughter looks away from the camera and flashes a slight smile.

Vincent, who is the spitting image of his father, wears a dark blue sweater and flashes a toothless grin. This isn’t the first time the 46-year-old royal, who is also mother to Prince Christian, 13, and Princess Isabella, 11, stepped behind the camera for the twin’s portraits.
Mary snapped sweet images for her twins on their second and fifth birthdays. Josephine and Vincent showed the public how grown up they’re getting last month during a holiday engagement with their family, in honor of their grandfather, Prince Henrik.
