Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew reunite at Royal Ascot with Princess Beatrice

Sarah Ferguson shows close bond with ex Prince Andrew and Queen Elizabeth at Royal Ascot

The Yorks are one modern family! Despite splitting over 20 years ago, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have remained close friends — and showed off their strong bond on Friday, June 22, at the Royal Ascot. The exes reunited on the fourth day of the prestigious horse racing event with their firstborn daughter Princess Beatrice. The family appeared to be in great spirits. Beatrice, 29, and her parents were spotted laughing and chatting away at the royal affair.

Sarah, who donned a navy Roland Mouret dress for the occasion, was also seen adjusting her ex-husband's lapel. Moments later, Sarah and Beatrice curtsied when the Queen made her entrance in the parade ring. Beatrice looked chic for the outing wearing a dove-grey dress by The Fold. While in the Royal Box, Queen Elizabeth and her former daughter-law, 59, were pictured sharing a laugh.

Noticeably absent from the family reunion was Sarah and Andrew’s youngest daughter Princess Eugenie. Royal fans can look forward to seeing the Duke of York, 58, and his ex-wife together again, this fall, when Eugenie, 28, says "I do" to fiancé Jack Brooksbank at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Last year, Sarah opened up about her relationship with the father of her children. Speaking to HOLA!’s sister brand HELLO!, the mom-of-two said, "A table can't stand on three legs, really, so you have the Duke and I, and the two girls. We're a family unit and we lead by example.”

She added, “We support each other emotionally and we support each other health wise. At least every two weeks we sit down and communicate, the four of us." She continued: "I think the one thing I've done incredibly well – although I say it myself - is that I'm a really good mum. And I think my girls shows that."
