Kate Middleton and the Countess of Wessex celebrated fashion at Buckingham Palace! On Monday, February 19, Prince William and Prince Edward’s wives celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s latest fashion initiative – the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange. The latest venture uses fashion as a common language and platform to help people understand the modern commonwealth in a different way. Kate, who is expecting her third child, looked incredibly chic as she posed for photographs, wearing a patterned dress by Erdem and elegant pumps, accessorizing with earrings by Anita Dongre.

The 36-year-old royal allowed her brown tresses to flow freely past her shoulders and complemented her look with minimal makeup. Sophie, 53, also wowed guests with her style in a black Burberry V-neck dress, which hugged her slim frame and gave her a super-polished look, while her blonde hair was styled in a sophisticated updo. The mother-of-two’s stylish look is no surprise, as she is fashion-forward, often seen in high-end designers including Valentino and Erdem.
