Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal romance is getting the Lifetime movie treatment. The engaged couple’s relationship will be depicted in the channel’s upcoming film Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance. Jessica Jones star Parisa Fitz-Henley has been cast as the former Suits actress-turned-royal-fiancée, while newcomer Murray Fraser will play Princess Diana’s youngest son. The movie will explore Harry and Meghan’s courtship from the moment they met after being set up by friends to the immense media attention surrounding their relationship.
Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance is scheduled to air in the spring ahead of the actual royal wedding (May 19). The forthcoming film isn’t the first time a royal romance has been depicted on Lifetime. In 2011, the TV channel debuted William & Kate, which shined a spotlight on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s relationship after meeting at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
