Along with the pictures, a message from the royal couple read: "A big and warm thanks for all the kind congratulations that have been received in connection with the birth of our son, Prince Gabriel.” Sofia and Carl added, “We appreciate your caring a lot."
In one image, the doting father cradled Gabriel, while looking at his one-year-old son, who was carried by Sofia. Alexander, dressed in a navy jumper and matching trousers, adorably stared into the camera, showing off his long blonde locks in the family photo. Another shot featured a close-up of Prince Gabriel gazing up at his parents as Carl, 38, and his wife, 32, sweetly admired their baby boy in Sofia’s arms.

Prince Alexander’s younger brother was born on August 31. Following Gabriel’s birth, proud dad Prince Carl chatted with members of the media saying, “It feels great, pure joy! He seems to be a very charming little boy and Sofia is a wonderful mom. It's overwhelming.”
Last summer, the Prince Couple opened up about the joys of parenthood. Sofia told Sweden's Svenskdam, “It's amazing," adding, “Having children changes your whole life.” She also noted, "[Alexander] is very sweet and well-behaved." Carl also discussed his new role as a first-time dad telling the outlet that it took “some adjustment, of course, but it is still absolutely amazing and wonderful."
