Ricky Martin reveals plans to grow family just days after daughter arrives

Reports of Ricky Martin being the ultimate family man have been confirmed. Days after the singer announced to the world the arrival of his baby girl Lucía, the 47-year-old Grammy winner attended the Golden Globes on Sunday in support of his series, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and told HOLA TV that the newborn already has him and his husband, Jwan Yosef, under her spell. "She's very beautiful. She's magic, precious," he said on the red carpet. "She can do whatever she wants as far as we're concerned... It's wonderful."

And there may be more magic in store as he also revealed to Extra’s Mario Lopez plans to expand his family of five. “Since my twins were born, I wanted Daddy’s little girl. I want a big family, we want a big family, it’s been beautiful,” he told Mario. “We’re only getting started.” And, it’s not the first time the Puerto Rican artist opened up about his ideal family size. In January of last year, he told E! News, “I want four more pairs of twins.”

On New Year’s Day, Ricky took to Instagram to share the lovely baby news with his 11.5 million followers. He wrote, “We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucía Martin-Yosef.” The Livin La Vida Loca artist is already a proud dad to 10-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino, whom he has been raising with Jwan.

Before marrying his beau Ricky opened up about his first impression of his now husband. "When I first saw him I said, ‘I am marrying this guy’ and apparently he said the same thing," Ricky told Attitude magazine last March. “Obviously he only told me this later on, you have to keep it to yourself at first. But I lost my breath when I saw him. Six months build up and it was very romantic.” It seems like he's living a true-life fairytale romance. So be on the lookout for more additions to the Martin-Yosef family.
