These celebrities are either going to be first time parents or adding to their growing family in 2018. Take a look at which celebrities and royals are expecting this year.

Mamie Gummer and Mehar Sethi

Meryl Streep is going to be a grandma! The Big Little Lies actress’ oldest daughter Mamie is expecting her first child with fiancé, television producer Mehar Sethi, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

Mamie and Mehar got engaged in August during their vacation to Croatia. “My Fiancé,” The Mick producer captioned the photo of the Out of the Blue star posted on his now-deleted Instagram. This will be the first child for Mamie, 35, and Meryl’s first grandchild.

Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid

Team Lochte is expecting their fourth member! The team USA swimmer and the model revealed that they are expecting their second child in June 2019. “BOOM!!!! Baby number 2! Can’t wait to bring my fam of 4 to #tokyo2020 #blessed #Lochte4 #familyjustgotbigger.”

In the picture, Kayla holds on to their son Caiden (who lifts up his shirt) as Ryan shows off the picture of the sonogram. Kayla also shared the news, with the same photo, next to the caption, “We are SO SO EXCITED! Baby #2 We can’t wait to meet you already!!! #lochte #baby #june2019.”

Ryan, 34, and Kayla, 27, tied the knot (for the second time) during a ceremony in Palm Springs in September. The family’s latest addition will join one-year-old brother Caiden Zane.

Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer

Baby on board! Amy and Chris are expecting their first child. The I Feel Pretty actress shared the news on Jessica Yellin’s Instagram page. The comedian’s name appeared next to the words “I’m pregnant” on a list of recommended candidates for the upcoming elections. Amy teased the news on her Instagram page with an image of her and the chef’s heads cropped on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bodies.

The 37-year-old’s news comes eight months after her surprised nuptials to Chris. Amy shared that she tied the knot with her husband in February with a series of pictures from the private ceremony, next to the caption “Yup.”

In 2017, Amy shared that she did have plans on becoming a parent someday. After admitting that her “uterus remains empty for now,” the Snatched star answered “Yeah,” we asked if motherhood was in her future.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson

The 38-year-old singer took our breath away on Tuesday, September 18 when she took to Instagram to announce that her and her husband Eric have a third bun in the oven! With the helping hands of her children, six-year-old daughter, Maxwell, and five-year-old son, Ace, Jessica made it known that the family would welcome a baby girl.

“SURPRISE…” she wrote in a mysterious first post of her two kids holding polka dot balloons. The star then shared a second photo that made it clear her tiny tots were participating in a balloon gender reveal on a scenic field. “This little baby girl will make us a family of five,” she wrote in the caption. "We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life."

Jessica gave birth to her firstborn Maxwell back in 2012 and Ace was born just a year later. Her and Eric became engaged in 2010, later saying “I do” before both of their children in a July 2014 ceremony.

Richard and Alejandra Gere

It's official: the newly-married couple are expecting their first child together. The joyous news spread on Spetember 16, just five months after the Hollywood actor and the Spanish beauty tied the knot in April.

The star pair made the annoucement with some iconic assistance: “A very special moment just a few minutes ago… Getting blessings for our precious to come,” Silva wrote along with an Instagram photo showing Buddhist leader the Dalai Lama blessing her baby bump. “We couldn’t announce it before telling HH Dalai Lama,” she added in both English and Spanish.

This will be the second child for each of them. Richard, 68, has a son, Homer James Jigme Carey, from a previous relationship, while his 35-year-old wife, has a six-year-old with former partner Govind Friedland.

Ryan Guzman and Chrysti Ane

Ryan Guzman is going to be a father! The 9-1-1 star and Chrysti are expecting their first child. The 30-year-old actor shared the news with his fans on Instagram.

“2018 has been a year of unexpected surprises. New jobs, new lives, and new love. Each one getting better than the next. As the year rounds the corner to its end, we both believed it couldn’t get any better. We were wrong! The newest/best surprise has yet to arrive but is on its way. The Brazilian beauty took to her Instagram to share the same image share that she was five months along. The actress who played the pink ranger on Power Rangers Ninja Steel took to her Instagram to show off her remaining abs and planned pregnancy training method.

“My goal is to stay in good shape and stay healthy through this entire pregnancy,” she wrote. “I’m more than halfway there.”

Lily Aldrige and Caleb Followill

Surprise! The 32-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel took to Instagram to announce she is pregnant with her and the Kings of Leon frontman's second child. She shared a glowing baby bump-centered picture of her in a bikini along with the caption: “SURPRISE.”

As support from fans poured in, so did well-wishes from her celebrity friends. Nick Jonas was quick to comment, leaving praise hand emojis. Lily's fellow model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also went the emoji route, posting heart-faces. The happy couple are already parents to six-year-old daughter Dixie Pearl Followill.

Erika Christensen and Cole Maness

Parenthood x 2! The actress first revealed the news that she is expecting her and her husband's second child in an Instagram post on May 31. Then on June 6, she showed off her growing bump on vacation. "Ok, first of all, I’m a little further along then I let on," the 35-year-old wrote. "Bumpin for real. And secondly, I have never done this in my life. My friends practice acro-yoga and convinced me I’d be totally fine. They were right. Super fun, easier than it looks, and why not make a spectacle at the beach? #pregnant #AF"

Erika and Cole married in 2015 and welcomed their daughter Shane in June 2016.

Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus  

The actress is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Us Weekly reports. The couple’s baby will be the second child for Norman, who shares 18-year-old son Mingus Lucien Reedus with ex-partner Helena Christensen.

Diane and The Walking Dead star made their red carpet debut in January at the 2018 Golden Globes. Rumors of their romance first started in March 2017 after they were pictured kissing in New York City. The Hollywood stars first met in 2015 while filming Sky. Diane was previously in a ten-year relationship with fellow actor Joshua Jackson. They started dating in 2006 following her split from her husband of five years, French director Guillaume Canet.

In 2011, Diana previously revealed that she was "over marriage" and that she was ready for motherhood, telling InStyle: "No marriage for me. But I definitely want to have kids. Being a godparent already has somewhat prepared her for having children of her own."

She added: "I have three goddaughters — I'm not sure why they trust me, because I have no experience with children — but I try." 

Josh and Kathryn Brolin

Hiking with baby! The Deadpool 2 actor and his wife Kathryn both shared the exciting news that they are expecting a baby girl. The 50-year-old wrote along with the image of his wife showing off her baby bump: "There’s a new sheriff in town, and she’s no bigger than a sweet potato. Hang on to your hats. #jbkbstucktogether#lilbeanterritory #loveisaslovedoes"

Kathryn, who tied the knot to the Sicario: Day of the Soldado star in 2016, will be a first-time parent. As for Josh, he has two older children Eden and Trevor with his first wife Alice Adair, whom he was married to from 1988 - 1994. He was also married to Diane Lane from 2004 - 2013.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz

Double, oh baby! The James Bond star and Rachel are expecting their first child together. "I'll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy," the 48-year-old actress revealed to the New York Times. "Were going to have a little human. We can't wait to meet him or her. It's all such a mystery." 

Rachel shares 11-year-old son Henry with Hollywood director Darren Aronofsky. The former couple dated between 2001 and 2010. Daniel, 50, is a father to 25-year-old daughter Ella from his previous marriage to actress Fiona Loudon.

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy

Homeland star Claire Danes and actor husband Hugh Dancy are set for baby #2! The 39-year-old actress announced that she is expecting during on The Howard Stern Show on April 18.

"So, I am going to tell you – I am pregnant," she said on the show. "I am pregnant, I am seriously preggo." When asked by the radio star how far along she was, Claire confessed she was "deep into my second trimester" and revealed that he was the first person she had told about the happy news. On the gender of her baby, the My So Called Life star chose to keep those details private.

Adriana Karembeu and Aram Ohanian

Congrats are in order for the Slovak model and the businessman, who are expecting their first child. According to French outlet Télé Loisirs, the 46-year-old model had expressed the desire to become a mother but was having trouble getting pregnant.

The supermodel, who once held the Guinness record for having the longest legs, continued that adoption wasn't off the table. "With Aram, we started thinking about adoption," she shared in September 2017. "No matter the path, it is the child that counts."

She also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in 2016. “In the months that followed, I couldn’t cross a woman pregnant or with a baby without feeling the tears rise to the eyes," she admitted.

Adriana married Aram in 2014 after splitting from soccer star Christian Karembeu in 2012.

Rachel McAdams

Add this milestone to her notebook! Rachel is expecting her first child, according to E! News. The Canadian actress, who is private about her personal life, was last linked to screenwriter Jamie Linden. The pair fueled speculation that they were a couple holding hands during the summer of 2016. 

The Notebook star has previously spoken about her desire to have children. "Having a few [kids] would be great," she told People magazine in 2009. "My mom is a great inspiration to me...She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle. She lets me be who I am. Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her."

Hugh Grant

Hugh Grant is set to become a father for a fifth time. The British actor, 57, is set to welcome his third child with his Swedish TV producer partner, Anna Eberstein. Anna's mom Susanne Eberstein confirmed the exciting news to the Swedish newspaper Astonbladet, saying: "I'm very happy to be getting another grandchild. She's due rather soon."

The pair already share a son, John Mungo, who was born in September 2012, and welcomed their second child together in December 2015. Hugh also shares two children – Tabitha, six, and Felix, four - with receptionist Tinglan Hong. After Felix's birth, Hugh tweeted: "In answer to some journos. Am thrilled my daughter now has a brother. Adore them both to an uncool degree. They have a fab mum."

Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo

The Monaco royals are reportedly expecting their second child. According to Italian magazine Chi, Beatrice is pregnant again, merely 11 months after welcoming her first child Stefano with Princess Caroline of Monaco's son.

Beatrice, a journalist and author, has previously opened up about wanting to start a family. In early 2016, she told Glamour magazine: "I come from a big family, and I want children of my own." The couple tied the knot in the summer of 2015. They had a civil ceremony in Monaco, followed by a large religious wedding on Isola Bella, one of the Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore, Italy.
