Stars such as Kim Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner have welcomed new additions to their brood. Check out which celebrities and royals have become proud parents for the first time or added siblings for their kids in 2018.

Jessica Chastain and Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo

The two-time Oscar nominee and her fashion executive husband Gian welcomed a baby girl this fall, according to Us Weekly. Speculation began in October when Jessica was seen pushing around a covered-up stroller and Gian carrying a baby car seat into a hotel.

Page Six first reported that the pair had their little bundle of joy via surrogate and named her Giulietta Passi Chastain.

Jessica and Gian started dating back in 2012 and then wed in June 2017. Their star-studded affair took place at Gian's family estate, Villa Tiepolo Passi, located in the Carbonera area of Treviso, Italy.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade

Surprise, it’s a girl. Gabrielle and Dwyane announced that they welcomed their first child together, a girl, via surrogate. The 46-year-old Breaking In actress and the 36-year-old NBA star shared the sweet news on Instagram.

After writing out the lyrics to the Bill Withers song Lovely Day, the proud mommy wrote next to a photo of the family from the hospital: “A LOVELY DAY [baby emojis] We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days.”

“Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin@dwyanewade." A week after announcing their daughter’s arrival, the Miami Heat guard shared his little girl’s name in a Throwback Thursday post featuring him in the tattoo chair.

“#TBT Goes back to that one night in China when i decided to get my daughters name tattooed on me. Kaavia James Union Wade!#paternityleave.” Kaavia is the first child for Gabrielle, who has been candid about her fertility struggles. The little lady joins big brothers Zaire, 16, Zion, 11, and Xavier, 5, from Dwyane's previous relationships. Dwyane and Gabrielle proudly raise his nephew Dahveaon.

Josh and Kathryn Brolin

Welcome to the world Westlyn Reign! Josh Brolin and his wife Kathryn welcomed their first child together on Sunday, November 4–a baby girl. The proud father took to Instagram to introduce his little girl by sharing an endearing video of Westlyn in which she smiles.

The 50-year-old-actor wrote, “Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our little girl Westlyn Reign Brolin (Bean). Mama Kathryn was stellar during this miracle birth and Bean is a flawless gem through and through. We are blessed to the core and appreciate so much the love and support during this pregnancy from ALL who have partaken in our journey, directly and/or indirectly.”

Just days before giving birth, Kathryn, 31, posted a photo to the ‘gram of a sunset behind her pregnant silhouette. She captioned, “To go with all the other sunset photos on insta. Except with an extremely late and sassy little future human.”

Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus

Diane Kruger is now a mommy! The 42-year-old actress and boyfriend, Norman Reedus, from The Walking Dead have welcomed their first child together. Although the baby’s sex, name, and birthdate are still unknown, we do know this is Diane’s first child, and Norman’s second, as he has a 19-year-old-son with his ex, Helena Christensen.

Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam

It’s a boy! Sources confirmed to HOLA! that Charlotte gave birth to her second child, and first with her fiancé on Tuesday, October 23. The 32-year-old’s baby boy was born in the Princess Grace Hospital, named after her grandmother Grace Kelly.

Charlotte and Dimitri, 37, have yet to announce the baby’s name. In April, Vanity Fair Italia reported that the eleventh in line to the Monaco throne was expecting. The following month, Charlotte kept her bump hidden under a sequined dress by Saint Laurent during the 2018 Met Gala.

The pair, who became engaged in March, decided to postpone their planned summer ceremony until after the birth of their child.

Both Charlotte and Dimitri have children from previous relationships. The royal is mother to son Raphaël Elmaleh, four, who she shares with ex-partner Gad Elmaleh. The film producer shares daughter Dasha with ex-wife Masha Novoselova.

Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams

It’s a girl! The Pretty Little Liars actress and the Suits actor have welcomed their first child, a daughter. The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share the news. The new mommy shared a picture of her baby girl, latching on to her finger that read: “I cannot express how grateful I am. To the people who have protected us and kept our growing family safe and respected our privacy. To our tribe for expanding with grace and exponential amounts of love. To my @halfadams for being so supportive during every moment of my pregnancy and her birth.”

She continued: “And to whatever incredible force of fate that brought this baby girl into our lives. I couldn’t be more proud to be her mother. To bring a new girl into this world and to do my best to raise her to be kind, strong and whatever the heck she wants to be.”

Patrick shared the same photo, with a caption dedicated to his wife and daughter. “The world just got 8lbs heavier. Thank you to everyone who fought for and protected our privacy during this incredible and beautiful time in our lives.”

“Everyone is happy and healthy and loving every moment of this. I could not be more excited to bring a baby girl into this world at this moment. We will raise her to be powerful, to always speak her mind and heart and to live without fear. It’s a brand new day and a brave new world and they are both beautiful.”

Troian, 32, and Patrick, 37, who were married in 2016, never confirmed the news that they were expecting. However, rumors of a pregnancy swirled after they attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s May wedding. The private couple did not share the baby girl’s name or birthday.

Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa

Just four days after welcoming her October 2 bundle of joy, Kate took to Instagram to reveal the first photo of her adorable baby girl, Rani Rose! “Our little rosebud,” the 39-year-old Fabletics founder wrote with this sweet and snuggly snap of Rani all wrapped up in a striped hospital blanket. It's easy to see that the newborn belongs to Kate, as she already sported a fashion statement: a pale pink hat with a simple bow.

The mom previously took to social media to announce the birth of her newest child and reveal the lovely meaning behind her name: Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. In a pink text graphic on Instagram, she wrote: “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor." Danny's father Ron passed away in October of 2012.

Goldie Hawn's daughter told the world about her pregnancy back in February. She also has a 7-year-old son Bingham Hawn, who she shares with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy and a 14-year-old son named Ryder Russell, from her marriage to ex-husband Chris Robinson.

Congratulations are in order for the James Bond star and his wife of seven years, who have welcomed their first child together! Multiple publications report that the new arrival is a baby girl – though there’s been no official confirmation from the happy couple, who are said to have become new parents at the start of the month.

Daniel and Rachel, who wed in a secret NYC ceremony in 2011, are extremely private when it comes to their relationship, and very rarely disclose personal details. When Rachel was asked about the secrecy by More in 2016, she replied: “It would be a betrayal. You have to protect your marriage.”
The 48-year-old actress did confirm her pregnancy, however, in an April interview with the New York Times. She said: “I’ll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy.” She added: “We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.”

Daniel, 50, also has a 26-year-old daughter named Ella from his marriage to Fiona Loudon. Meanwhile Rachel has a son, 12-year-old Henry, with director Darren Aronofsky.

The longtime Saturday Night Live star and his model wife welcomed daughter Gianna Michelle on Tuesday, July 31 according to TMZ. Weighing in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces, the bundle of joy entered the world healthy.

Evangeline waited to publicly announce her pregnancy just days prior to giving birth. “I’m usually private when it comes to these personal things, but we have less than 5 days until this little girl is due and I am just TEW excited,” she wrote on Instagram along with a clip of herself flaunting a booming baby bump on July 28.

The 40-year-old funny man and his 29-year-old lady love are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Georgia. The happy pair tied the knot back in November 2011.

Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato

The Just Haven’t Met You Yet singer and his wife have welcomed their little girl, confirming her name to PEOPLE as Vida Amber Betty Bublé. Vida translates to "life" in Spanish, which is Luisana's native language. The Argentine actress took to her Instagram on July 26, to share the exciting news with her fans.

“How to explain that the heart of love exploits us? That we do not reach the hours of the day to contemplate it,” the caption next to a photo of the baby girl’s hand read in Spanish. “I thank God for making us this gift of life and joy! Because to look at his eyes is to look at the sky itself!”

She continued: “We love you to infinity and beyond. We were waiting for you not only to grow as a family ... you gave us light, hope, finally you are and you will be our Soul Life !! #regalodedios #feliz #family #ourprincess.”

Luisana, 31, and 42-year-old Michael’s little girl will join her big brothers, Noah, four, and Elias, two. Ahead of her birth, Michael opened up about his newest bundle’s gender. “I got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming.”

Michael and Luisana announced their pregnancy news a year and a half after they revealed that their then three-year-old son, Noah, had been diagnosed with cancer.

Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry

There’s a new man in the Curry house! The Golden State Warriors player and the lifestyle blogger have welcomed their latest addition. Steph and Ayesha’s third child – a boy – arrived on July 2.

Ayesha shared the news next to an adorable picture of their three children that read: “My heart is FULL. God has been too good to us. Our beautiful baby boy Canon W. Jack Curry 7/2/2018. He joined us earlier than we thought and we couldn’t be more excited and grateful. Family of 5! @stephencurry30 #mynewman."  

The basketball player also shared the news with his fans, writing: “On this journey, on this quest..protect me…I’m bless! Canon W. Jack Curry @ayeshacurry.”

The 30-year-old and 29-year-old are parents to five-year-old Riley and two-year-old Ryan.

It’s a girl! Brigitte Nielsen gave birth to her and husband Mattia Dessí’s first child together on June 22. “We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives,” the parents told People. “It’s been a long road and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love.”

The 54-year-old supermodel gave birth to her fifth child – and first daughter – Frida in Los Angeles. The baby girl weighed 5lbs and 9oz. Brigitte, who married Mattia in 2006, shocked the world when she announced her pregnancy in late May. “Family getting larger [red heart emoji] #me #family #brigittenielsen #babybump.”

Frida joins her older brothers Julian Winding, 34, Killian Gastineau, 28, Douglas Meyer, 25, and Raoul Meyer Jr., 23, from Brigitte’s previous relationships.

The Victoria's Secret supermodel now has two angels to call her sons. The 29-year-old welcomed her baby boy with fiancé Hermann Nicoli on June 19. She shared the first image of their newest addition on her Instagram story with the word, "Blessed." 

The couple, who got engaged in 2015 and have been together for over a decade, are also parents to their son Anaca, 20 months. The South African beauty was last seen soaking up some rays in her love's native Brazil in the beginning of July.

Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith

Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith welcomed their son Roman Alexander-Raj Smith on June 14. Crystal took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, writing: "Born 6-14-18 at 2:11 pm. 6pd and 15 ounces. 19 inches long," she wrote along with a text graphic of his name. "He's so BEAUTIFUL."

After the exciting announcement, Crystal gave fans a sneak peek at her bundle of joy by posting to her Instagram story. She opted for a photo that showed the newborn sweetly sleeping on dad Ne-Yo's bare chest. "Skin to skin," she wrote.

The singer, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, and his wife welcomed their first child together, boy Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., back in May of 2016. This was merely a month after they were wed in L.A. The couple are also parents to son Mason Evan and daughter Madilyn Grace, from Ne-Yo's past relationship.

Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt

The couple of six years welcomed their second child on April 19, 2018, shortly after this photo was taken at the A Quiet Place premiere on April 2. The Hunger Games actor and his wife named their baby girl Emilia Giovanna Tucci. "Hopefully she will have the looks and brains of her mother and one of my personalities," the 57-year-old shared with People.

The newborn joins big brother Mateo, who was born in 2015. Stanley also has three older teenage children with his late wife Kate, who passed away in 2009.

Chloe Green and Jeremy Meeks

The Topshop heiress and her model partner welcomed their first son together on May 29. The couple kept the news quiet until June 7 when Chloe took to Instagram to share the first image of their baby boy. "We are pleased to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy Jayden Meeks-Green," she wrote in the caption. "Born May 29th 2018. Mommy and Baby both doing well. We kindly ask to respect our privacy Please. Much love Chloe & Jeremy."

The couple first confirmed their romance last summer when pictures emerged of them together on a yacht in Turkey. The 34-year-old, who was nicknamed the 'Hot Felon' after his 2014 police mugshot went viral, was still legally married to his now-estranged wife Melissa at the time. He and Melissa have one son together: Jeremy Jr., 8.

This is the first child for the 27-year-old, who one day stands to inherit a slice of Sir Philip's $5 billion fashion empire that includes Topshop, Topman and Dorothy Perkins.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Baby makes four! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have welcomed their second child together. The model announced her son’s arrival on May 17, simply tweeting, “Somebody’s herrrrrrre! 🍼🤗🍼🤗.”

On May 20, she then shared the first photo of the tiny tot (seen left), writing: "Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens - We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!"

The couple’s baby boy joins big sister Luna Simone Stephens, who was born in 2016. Chrissy announced in November 2017 that she was expecting her second child with the All Of Me singer.

Both of the Hollywood stars' kids were conceived via IVF. A month before her son’s birth, Chrissy told the Cut, “IVF makes you really appreciate that, my God, this is a miracle. There are so many different factors that go into being able to conceive a baby. The process really makes you appreciate that.”

She added, “But it’s also easy to grow resentful of how easy it is for some people, when you’re literally mixing your own powders and chemicals to inject into your belly, shoving progesterone up there. It’s almost like one of those things where there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s like the physical pain of labor. Once your baby is actually born, you don’t remember that pain at all. When you go through IVF, it does feel like, Oh it’s not fair I have to do all this. Still, it’s a complete miracle when it works. There are so many people that still struggle, even with access to IVF.”

The Baldwinitos have added another member!  The couple welcomed their latest addition, a boy named Romeo Alejandro David on Thursday, May 17. "He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz 💛 #wegotthis2018," Hilaria shared on her Instagram. In the photo, Hilaria cradles her son in her arms, as Alec proudly looks at the baby. 

The proud dad took to his Instagram to share the same photo with the caption, "Here we go again!#BaldwinitosEverywhere." The 60-year-old Match Game host and the 34-year-old yogi’s latest bundle joins older siblings, Carmen, four, two-year-old Rafael and one-year-old Leonardo as well as Alec's daughter Ireland, 22.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Hart. According to People magazine, Miranda and Evan’s son was born on May 7 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The pair paid tribute to Evan's grandfather with their son’s name. They released a statement, which read: "Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family. Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. Thank you for the kind words and wishes during this very special time."

Miranda, 35, is already a doting mother to seven-year-old son Flynn, whom she shares with her ex-husband, British actor Orlando Bloom. The Australian beauty and her second husband, 27-year-old billionaire Snapchat founder Evan, revealed their baby news in November, with a statement that read: "Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family."  

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons

The Fargo co-stars and real-life couple welcomed their first child together, according to a new report. A source told People that they are proud parents to a "healthy baby boy" and that "everyone is doing great."

The arrival of their baby comes just three months after the 36-year-old actress confirmed her pregnancy in the Fall 2018 Rodarte lookbook, titled Women Who Inspire Us. Last year, Kirsten revealed she was ready to become a mother. "I wasn't one of those 'I need a baby!' people until my goddaughter was born," she told Marie Claire. "I love her so much. That love is just like… you can't experience that unless you have a kid." She added: "I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, 'Where’s Kiki?' I just love that love. That's what I want."

Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah

Jordin confirmed on Instagram on May 5 that she gave birth to her and her husband's first child, son Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr. The baby boy, who they will call DJ, was born on May 2 at 9:04 p.m. at the Natural Birth Center & Women's Wellness in L.A. DJ weighed 8 lbs. 4.5 oz. and measured 21.5 inches, People reported.

"He's here & we couldn't be more in love!!! Go DJ!" she wrote on Instagram. The former American Idol winner described the birthing process as "miraculously beautiful." "Dana caught him with my midwife, Simona, and when he handed him to me, I was absolutely overwhelmed with joy," she said. "He was and is everything we imagined." Just days after becoming a mom, the singer told People, "I'm feeling pretty good! I am so grateful for my husband and amazing team at the Natural Birthing Center. I don't think I would be feeling this great without them!" 

The twosome announced their happy expecting news back in November along with the fact that they had secretly tied the knot on July 16.

The Rock and Lauren Hashian

It’s another little girl for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his longtime love Lauren. The Rampage star announced the birth of his daughter Tiana next to a sweet photo of him sharing a moment of skin to skin. 

“Our mana. Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world. Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rock star. I was raised and surrounded by strong, loving women all my life, but after participating in baby Tia’s delivery, it’s hard to express the new level of love, respect and admiration I have for @laurenhashianofficial and all mamas and women out there.”

The wrestler-turned-actor also shared a special message to his youngest girl. “And to my third and youngest daughter, Tiana Gia - like I did when your two older sisters Simone Alexandra and Jasmine Lia were born, you have my word, I’ll love, protect, guide and make ya laugh for the rest of my life. Your crazy dad has many responsibilities and wears many hats in this big ol’ world but being your dad will always be the one I’m most proud to wear. Macklemore and his wife Tricia Davis

Surprise! The Grammy-winning rapper and his wife welcomed their second child together, a baby girl, in secret back in March. The 34-year-old, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, told Irish radio station Spin 1038 in Dublin that he spent the past St. Patrick's Day "in the hospital with my brand-new daughter who was born right before St. Patrick's Day."

Macklemore and Tricia, who are known to be private, were already parents to daughter Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty. The pair announced her birth after over a month passed as well. They also did the same when breaking their marriage news.

Back in September, Macklemore took to Instagram to reveal that his wife was expecting their second child. Tricia then took to Instagram in February to share a photo of her bare baby bump. In the caption, she informed her followers that she had just a few weeks left before she was going to give birth.

Karla Souza and Marshall Trenkmann

The How to Get Away with Murder actress got away with the perfect secret pregnancy! Karla announced that she was expecting and had welcomed her first child in two separate posts on April 19. “So I have something to share with you guys 😉 ,” the Mexican star captioned a photo of herself and her baby bump. Karla followed up the post with another picture cradling her newborn baby girl Gianna, which she captioned: “God blessed us 🙏🏻.” On her Instagram Story, the new mom shared, “The last nine months have been nothing short of a miracle,” adding, “We welcomed our healthy baby girl Gianna and we couldn’t feel more blessed in this moment.” Karla and her husband Marshall tied the knot in 2014.

Lauren Bush and David Lauren

Two days after losing her grandmother Barbara Bush, Lauren welcomed a baby boy with her husband. David took to Instagram to share the first photo of their second son along with the caption: “We feel lucky and blessed to introduce our son Max Walker Lauren! He was born yesterday (April 19) at 5:33 am weighing 7lbs 8oz. He is happy and healthy and enjoying his new world!” 

The 33-year-old's parents Neil, who is one of Barbara and George H.W.'s six kids, and his wife Maria shared on Facebook about both the passing of his mother and birth of their grandson. "...In the final hours she was comfortable, loving, surrounded by family, holding hands with dad. Maria and I will always be grateful for being able to say a proper goodbye to our wonderful mother," he wrote in part. "And then two days later, yesterday morning, two weeks before her due date, Lauren Bush Lauren gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb 8 oz baby boy Max Walker Lauren. The circle of life. God is good."

Lauren and David are also parents to two-year-old James. The couple got married in a lavish affair in 2011 in Colorado.

The supermodel and her husband James Conran welcomed an adorable new addition to their family, Iver Eames, on April 20. The now mom-of-two alerted fans she was in labor with a photo in her hospital gown prior to the photo with her baby boy. "My baby boy, Iver Eames Conran. 7lbs 10oz of pure wonder. @iverconran."

Iver joins big sister Ioni James and they now both have their own Instagram handles.

John Stamos is no longer just an uncle, having welcomed his first baby with wife Caitlin. The Fuller House actor revealed the news to his over two million fans on Instagram, sharing a gorgeous shot of him doing skin to skin with his new bundle of joy.

"From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son." Welcome Billy Stamos (named after my father) #NotJustanUncleAnymore #Overjoyed, "I have captioned the sweet black and white snap. John, 54, first revealed he and wife Caitlin, 32, were expecting their first baby back in December, just two months after their fairytale engagement at Disneyland.

John told People at the time: "The [pregnancy] happened, Then I said, I wanted to ring on her finger because it's the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway. and it was like, 'You better!' "

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

The reality star gave birth to her and Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson's daughter on Thursday, April 12, in a hospital outside of Cleveland. Four days later, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star broke her silence about her baby girl and revealed her name. “Here’s the thing, two years ago I sat at this desk and told the story about how my first son Ashe was born and how it was very dramatic in that my wife, her contractions started coming very quickly, very suddenly and we were really worried that she was going to give birth in the Uber,” he shared. “And we just made it to the hospital with just 20 minutes to spare. Well move over that story, cause that’s so normal compared to what happened yesterday.”

The SNL alum then shared the details of how he and his wife were again heading into an Uber when they had to make the split decision to have the baby in the lobby of their apartment building. An overjoyed Seth became emotional as he shared pictures of Alexi, 35, surrounded by fire fighters and holding their newborn son on her chest and thanked everyone involved.

Seth also shared the meaning behind the baby's name. "Axel, was just a name we liked," as he said that his is the middle name comes from Alexi's grandparents who met after being liberated from the Holocaust. Seth and Alexi, who married in 2010, are also parents to two-year-old are Ashe Olsen.
