Eva Mendes is pulling style inspiration from her leading man, Ryan Gosling. The New York and Company designer took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 19, to ask fans how they feel about her latest idea for her clothing line. Alongside the picture she wrote, “How we feeling about men’s cardigans these days? Looking for inspiration for new collection. Thoughts?”

In the photo, Eva showed off her shorter curly hair, while wearing one of Ryan's button down sweaters. The mother-of-two styled the cardigan over a white t-shirt for her photo. Meanwhile in 2016, the Blade Runner 2049 actor wore the sunny piece under a blazer while doing promotion for his film The Nice Guys.

Eva, 43, and Ryan, 36, are parents to daughters Esmeralda, three, and one-year-old Amada. While the actress channeled her Place Beyond the Pines co-star for her latest look, Eva recently opened up to PeopleStyle about how her style has changed since becoming a mom. “Your standards just drop to the bare minimum,” she admitted. “One of the biggest things I’m always so shocked about is how long it takes to get out of the house now. Now that there’s two it’s almost impossible. Because when you’re ready to go, something goes down.”

She continued: “Just when you’re like, ‘Ok, they’re dressed and they’re ready, now I just have to get dressed,’ there’s just usually something that goes down that takes that much longer. It’s really about what’s clean and what I can grab. And sometimes those two things are not mutually exclusive.”
