Ariana Grande, Coldplay, Katy Perry and more come together for the One Love Manchester concert: All of the highlights

Ariana Grande gathered some of music’s biggest names for the One Love Manchester benefit concert at the Emirates Old Trafford stadium on June 4, 2017 to honor the victims of the May 22 bombing following her show in the city.

The One Last Time singer had the support of Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and many more as she retuned to the stage, in front of 50,000 people, and live on ABC, BBC and Freeform, just two weeks after the terrorist attacks. By the end of the show, over $2 million was raised for the Manchester Emergency Fund set up for the victims and their families. 

The show still continued, with a message of love, despite the June 3 terror attack on the London Bridge the night before. Ariana’s manager Scooter Braun ensured fans that the show would continue following the events, and encouraged all to attend without fear. "Today's One Love Manchester benefit concert will not only continue, but will do so with greater purpose. We must not be afraid, and in tribute to all those affected here and around the world, we will bring our voices together and sing loudly," he shared on Twitter.

He continued: "All artists involved have been unwavering in their support this morning and are determined to carry on with the show."

The One Love Manchester concert was going to go in a more somber direction until Ariana spoke with the mother of Olivia, a 15-year-old killed during the attack. She told her that her daughter would want her to play the hits, so she did just that.

The Side to Side singer told the crowd that she changed her set list at the last minute, turning the night into a celebration. Ariana took the stage several times throughout the night and was joined by boyfriend Mac Miller, Miley Cyrus, the Black Eyed Peas and Coldplay in addition to a slew of others who came in for night.

The 23-year-old singer closed the concert with a tearful rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. She also shared with the crowd, "I love you guys so much and I think that the kind of love and unity that you're displaying is the medicine the world really needs right now. So, I want to thank you for being just that."

Katy Perry moved the crowd during her two-song set, which included Roar and Part of Me. Fans took notice of the singer’s over-the-top white outfit, that revealed an all white dress adorned with photos of the victims.

During her performance, the California Girl singer told the crowd, “I’m so honored and humbled to be here tonight to share and spread love. Love conquers fear, and love conquers hate, and this love that we choose will give you strength, and it’s our greatest power.”

Miley Cyrus made her way to Manchester after NYC to perform for her good friend Ariana. The duo sat on the steps for an intimate performance of Don't Dream It's Over.

In addition to her performance with Ariana, Miley took the stage solo to perform her latest single Inspired, which she dedicated to the crowd and joined Pharrell Williams for a rendition of his single Happy. 

After, the Malibu singer shared with the BBC about Ariana: “I think what I’ve told her, too, is I plan on making music for the rest of my life, and I think that’s her plan, too. And I think if we can be this team until we’re old, continue to do things like this, let’s not stop today... So we’re always going to make sure that we keep doing this for the rest of our lives. I think her and I have to continue to — I think she finally found her real job, you know?”

One Direction star Niall Horan performed his solo songs Slow Hands and his debut single This Town.

Before introducing the song, the Ireland native paid tribute to the people of Manchester for always making him feel welcome and added: "We love you, we're with you, the whole world is watching, and I want to dedicate this song to you."

There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd or on the stage during Ariana’s performance of My Everything with the Parrs Wood High School Choir.

In one of the more emotional moments of the night, the singer took the stage with the children, which included a handful of students who were at her concert the night of the attack. When the choir’s lead got emotional, Ariana quickly embraced her and told her not to cry.

The super prouducer started his upbeat set with a performance of his hit with Daft Punk Get Lucky before Miley Cyrus joined him on stage for a performance of Happy. 

Ahead of the performance, the singer told the crowd, “Despite all the things that have been going on in this place, I don't feel or smell or hear or see any fear in this building." 

He continued: "All we feel here tonight is love, resilience, positivity. And you know what? I hate to be corny, but it actually makes me, uh" ... you can guess it: "Happy."

Ariana took the stage with the Black Eyed Peas to perform their 2003 hit Where is the Love. While on stage, Ariana and the group turned their hands into heart symbols as the crowd sang along.

Ariana Grande joined her boyfriend Mac Miller on stage for two duets. The real life couple collaborated on stage for The Way and Dang.

Mac, who has been by Ariana’s side since she returned home to Florida following the attack, sealed the moment with a kiss. Ariana also had many talking about the diamond sparkler on her left ring finger.

Justin Bieber got emotional as he took the stage for an acoustic performance of his and Major Lazer’s hit Cold Water.

The I’m the One singer led the crowd with a faith-filled speech dedicated to the victims saying, "God is in the midst. No matter what's happening in the world. And he loves you. And he's here for you. I just want to take a moment to honor the people who were lost, who were taken. We love you so much. To the families, we love you so much ... put your hands up to honor them."

Coldplay took time to honor the lady of the evening with a special tribute. Chris Martin joined Ariana on stage, where he told the 23-year-old singer “from us to you,” before he went into Oasis’ Don’t Look Back in Anger. The show’s organizer became emotional as the British band performed the song that became the anthem for survival after the attack on Manchester. Crowds had gathered in front of the memorial to sing the song for days after. 

The audience was also delighted to see Oasis’ Liam Gallagher grace the stage with Chris and his band for a rendition of Live Forever. The Manchester native also performed Oasis’ Rock ‘n’ Roll Star before going into his latest solo single Wall of Glass.

The girl band, who were originally supposed to be performing on Britain's Got Talent finale, said they were "so so happy to be a part of this incredible day."

Jade explained that they had chosen a song "to empower people to stand together and not let anyone bring them down" - their debut single Wings.

Take That started their performance as a trio with their hit Shine before singing their latest single Giants. The group said their thoughts were with everyone who had been affected by the attack, but wanted everyone to stay strong.

The popular Manchester musicians closed their set with a performance of Rule the World, before introducing their former bandmate Robbie Williams to the stage. Although Take That didn't perform together, they did all stand together and take a bow before Gary, Mark and Howard left the stage and Robbie burst into a rendition of his hit song Strong.

The singer changed the lyrics of the song to say, "Manchester, we're strong," which the crowd sang along loudly. Robbie also performed his single Angels and looked visibly choked up when his performance came to an end.

The show opened with a performance from Mumford and Sons lead singer Marcus Mumford, who led the crowd in a minute of silence before performing an acoustic version of the band's song Timshel for the 50,000 strong crowd.

With lyrics that included the words, "You are not alone in this," it was a poignant start to the concert and visibly moved some members of the audience.

Ariana became overcome with emotion as she took the stage for the final song of the evening. The singer, who was on and off stage for the duration of the show, took the stage alone and performed an emotional rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

During a brief moment, the Baby I singer began to cry and was surrounded with the love of the audience who cheered her on before she continued the classic tune.
