Melania left the White House in a creamy Max Mara sweater and a formfitting Hervé Pierre leather skirt. The micro-ribbed knit top was complete with bow cuffs, its light color contrasting against the burnt orange pencil skirt. Hervé Pierre’s design included a high waist and meticulous exposed stitching, hugging the mom’s sleek body. The accessories adorning the clothes were more standard-Melania: a colossal diamond ring and nude Manolo Blahnik stilettos.
When pictures surfaced, the ensemble initially made waves, as it was undoubtedly the most avant-garde Melania has worn yet as the President’s wife.
