Camila Cabello brought the perfect date to the 60th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 28 – her mom! Sinuhe Cabello accompanied her 20-year-old to the award show in New York City. The Havana singer looked red hot for the occasion donning a strapless Vivienne Westwood Couture dress, which she accessorized with a Judith Leiber bag and Bulgari jewelry. The mother-daughter duo made a sweet pair chatting to E!’s Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet.

“She says you give very good advice,” the TV host told Camila’s mother, to which she responded, “Yeah, I do.” When asked if she could share any advice, Sinuhe joked, “I can give you my number; you can text me.”

Camila has previously opened up about her mother’s advice for her solo debut album after leaving the all-girl group Fifth Harmony. Discussing her record-breaking album Camila with Extra earlier this month, the Cuban-American singer shared, “My mom has always told me when I made that decision, she was like ‘Don’t expect anything. Expect the worst and if you still want to do this then go ahead and do it.’”
She added, "And so I was perfectly ready for none of it to happen so the fact that people connected to Havana and that people are connecting to Never Be the Same and people are just connecting to my music, it's like the best feeling ever."
While on the carpet, Camila also ran into Nick Jonas as she was wrapping her interview. Ryan asked if she knows Nick to which she replied, "I do know Nick Jonas!" The two embraced, but did admit they haven't seen each other since New Year's Eve, and then Camila complimented him on how great he looked.
