Just in time to enjoy the holiday season, production has wrapped on Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming romantic comedy Second Act. The 48-year-old star, who also served as a producer for the film, took to Instagram on Friday, December 15, to post a series of sweet videos commemorating the final day of shooting. The first of which, was a cute clip with her and co-star Vanessa Hudgens. “Yayyyyyy!! Another one in the can!!” J.Lo wrote along with the post. “Such a great shoot!! So happy and so grateful for the new friends I’ve made and so fortunate to work with so many beautiful creative souls!! Have a great holiday everybody!!” She added the hashtags: “I love making movies” and “life is beautiful.”

The 29-year-old Grease Live! actress reposted the video, which shows the pair hugging each other and smiling during the fleeting on-set moment. “This is it! It’s a wrap! I am cryin,” Jennifer says in the video as Vanessa wraps her arms around her. “I love this little kitten. It’s been amazing working together. Guys, we wrapped – we did it! It’s over.” The former Disney star also shared her bittersweet feelings, saying she is “so sad” the filming has officially ended and that she loves the Shades of Blue star.
Continuing to honor the creative process, Jennifer posted a video of the team’s “fearless” leader, director Peter Segal. Peter, who has previously directed films like Get Smart and 50 First Dates, told the entire cast and crew that this was his favorite production to work on. His leading lady clearly agreed, captioning the post: "One of the best experiences I’ve had too!! Thank you so much for putting your heart, soul and laughter into our little story!! #secondact #thatsawrap.”

Jennifer, who starred in the film alongside good friend Leah Remini as well, also posted some shots of her supportive team. “Couldn’t do it without them!” she wrote, filled with gratitude. Ni Tu Ni Yo singer had documented the entire last day, posting videos and photos of her on the way to set. Huddled away from the brisk NYC weather, she looked glamorous underneath the cozy confines of a furry hooded-jacket. Second Act is a romantic comedy that follows a big-box store employee, portrayed by Jennifer, who tries to prove that in New York City, street smarts are just "as valuable as a college degree." Milo Ventimiglia also appears in the movie, playing J.Lo's longtime boyfriend.
