Melania Trump has a fright and meets her mini-me at White House Halloween

It was a spooktacular first Halloween at the White House for Melania Trump. The first lady and her husband President Donald Trump opened the South Lawn of the White House to trick-or-treaters on the eve of the holiday (October 30). Barron Trump’s parents were all smiles as they greeted schoolchildren, military families and community organizations dressed in costumes.

While passing out cookies created by the White House Pastry Kitchen, in addition to Presidential M&M’s and other candies to schoolchildren, military families and community organizations, Melania came face-to-face with her mini-me. One young girl dressed up as the first lady wearing a white shirt, black pants, sneakers and cap with “FLOTUS” emblazoned on the front —  which is the outfit the 47-year-old wore on her trip to Texas back in August. The president's wife appeared flattered by the youngster's costume choice.

During the festivities, the anti-bullying advocate also befriended a child dressed in an inflatable T-Rex costume. Melania feigned shock as she greeted her jurassic trick-or-treater. The White House was decorated for the occasion with the South Portico featuring spider webs, bats and orange pumpkins with profiles of past presidents.
