George Clooney talks differences between his and wife Amal’s twins, plus their latest milestone

George and Amal Clooney’s children may be twins, but the four-month-olds already have their own personalities. “Ella is very elegant and dainty she has these big beautiful eyes, she looks like Amal,” George told Extra. Of his son, who “weighs three pounds more than his sister,” the actor joked, “He’s just a thug. He’s a fat little boy, he laughs louder than everyone in the room, it’s the funniest thing.”

Amal, 39 and George, 56, who welcomed their little girl and boy in June, are still adjusting to life as a family-of-four. “We’re still getting used to having human beings in our life,” the Suburbicon director told Entertainment Tonight. “Two little human beings that we are responsible for. But it’s pretty funny and it’s wild.”

The Clooneys recently celebrated a new milestone for their twins. “This is an important part of my life’s journey and this is really, truly the largest step in fatherhood for me at this point,” George shared. “Three days ago, my children started on what we would call solid food.” "I don't know how it goes in as a carrot and it comes out the way it comes out," he added. "But it was shocking. It was shocking what has changed. And I think it may never go back. I think it's going to be that way forever now, and it was terrifying."

While he may be a new father, George is full of advice for new parents. "Don't feed them solid food," he joked. "Until they can change their own diaper, they just get milk, that would be my advice."
