Eva Mendes is used to balancing her work and home life – but the mother-of-two opened up about the challenges she’s faced since becoming a mom to her and Ryan Gosling's daughters Esmeralda, 3, and one-year-old Amada. “Oh my god, nobody warns you about the guilt that you feel when you do work," she told E! The 43-year-old went on to confess that she isn’t quite sure how she does it at all. She shared during a New York & Co. event, “I don’t know how I find balance because I think it is like a day to day kind of struggle, you know?” The Place Beyond the Pines actress also understands that it's important to take care of herself in order to be the best mom for her two daughters. “I’m all for obviously taking care of myself—that’s how I can take care of them of course—but that guilt that is just kind of always there. It’s like, ‘Ugh, this is going to be there forever now.’”

Luckily her kids don't know she is one of the most sought after actresses in the world. She confessed that her oldest "is kind of oblivious that I do anything besides be her mom." And with that, the Revlon spokesperson wants to make sure they stay children and express themselves in their own way. “Literally, you want to wear jammies all day? Wear jammies all day," she explained. "Like, to me, it is such a beautiful time to be a kid and not have, you know, no pressure."
