John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s fertility struggles brought the supermodel and her husband closer together, according to the All of Me singer. “Having a baby is a big challenge for a couple,” the Grammy winner told Cosmopolitan magazine. “Going through that together strengthens your bond because if you make it through [having a child], you know you can make it through anything.”

The couple, who welcomed their daughter Luna in April of 2016 with the help of IVF, had been trying to conceive for several years before turning to the treatment. John, 38, opened up about the struggle of being unable to conceive naturally.
"I think it's especially difficult when you can't conceive naturally," he said. "You want to feel like everything's working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it's not… [IVF] brought us Luna and hopefully, it will bring us a few more awesome kids, too."

Earlier this month, Chrissy, 31, revealed that she and John are planning on expanding their family. "We're going to try to have a child,” the model told Cosmopolitan magazine. “This is for us to try to get in the zone of 'let's travel, let's be away together, let's see our closest friends,' and then we're going to have to do something super hard, which is the IVF process, all over again."
