Sorry not sorry! Demi Lovato took to Twitter to reveal that she was well aware of a party her friends were throwing for her 25th birthday on Sunday. While the bash was meant to be a surprise, the singer couldn’t hold back her delight. “I'm excited for my surprise birthday party tomorrow,” she wrote candidly on Saturday, her birthday eve.

It’s been a fun-filled weekend for Demi who performed at the 2017 Billboard Hot 100 Festival on Saturday night. The star rocked the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh City, singing and dancing to her latest hits for fans while wearing a tight black leotard with an oversized bedazzled New York Mets jersey on top. Demi accentuated her legs with a pair of knee-high black boots and showed off her long brunette locks by keeping her hair down.

On Friday, the entertainer kicked off her birthday weekend by going to see the hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. Demi reunited with her Camp Rock buddy Nick Jonas for the special occasion. The young talents were seen hanging out backstage at the Music Box Theatre with Evan Hansen himself, Ben Platt, as well as Emmy-winning actor Michael Park.
The Broadway visit came after Demi powered through a bout of rain for her Good Morning America performance in Central Park. The weather didn’t stop the former-Disney star and her fans from having a good time, as Demi performed her single Sorry Not Sorry. She also sang No Promises with Cheat Codes and Instruction with Jax Jones. GMA later called her performance “unreal.”
Afterwards, Demi thanked her dedicated fans with a sweet tweet: “My Lovatics who came to @GMA this morning & stood in the pouring rain to see me THANK YOU!! I love you. Your support means the world.” She also thanked the ABC show and her fellow performers, writing: “Thanks @GMA for a crazy morning in the rain!!! So happy @cheatcodesmusic & @jaxjones got to be there with us too.”
