Justin Theroux reveals he skipped his 'Friends' audition, plus what Jennifer Aniston calls him out on

A couple that laughs together stays together rings true for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. In a new interview with Mr. Porter magazine, the actor said, “In a perfect world, a relationship is two people laughing together," while noting, “Why would a man be intimidated by a funny woman?”

While The Leftovers star, 46, and Jennifer, 48, are both veterans when it comes to comedy, the actress is not afraid to call out her husband's bad jokes. “When it’s not funny, she calls me out,” he admitted. “She says, ‘That’s not funny.'”

As for whether Jennifer approves of fart jokes, Justin said, “Of course, she would allow a fart joke,” adding, “But I think she actually has a more refined sense of humor than to crack a fart joke. I think she’s funnier than that.”

Justin and Jennifer tied the knot in 2015. The couple, who first met on the set of Tropic Thunder in 2008, could have possibly made a love connection sooner had the actor not skipped his audition for Friends after moving to New York in 1993. He confessed, “I slept in that day. I wouldn’t have been prepared for [the fame].”
