Sergio Garcia and Angela Akins are officially husband and wife! The Spanish golf champion and his fiancée said “I do” during a wedding ceremony held in Texas on Saturday, July 29. The newly-minted Mrs. Garcia took to her Instagram to share one of the first images of her and her husband from their big day. “A dream come true! #whitedressgreenjacket @sergiogarcia,” she captioned the photo of her kissing Sergio.
Sergio, 37, and Angela’s nuptials were attended by family and friends, including fellow golfer Rickie Fowler. The couple's celebration included a performance by Kenny G and a spectacular fireworks display. On the day of their wedding, the pair played a round of golf and Angela took to her Snapchat to show off her and her bridesmaids' green robes – which paid homage to her now-husband’s Masters win. After the pair's ceremony, Sergio swapped his black jacket for his Masters green jacket, which he received this year after winning the 2017 Masters Championship.

In April, Sergio opened up about his plans to marry his love – and celebrating the big day in his new green sports jacket. "We were just talking about it," he quipped during the winner's press conference at the Masters, when asked if he would wear his green jacket on his wedding day. "This one is a little bit too big. It would be nice, but no -- I don't know. We'll get to the point when we get there."

Last week, Angela counted down the days to her wedding with a sweet post writing, “In three days I marry my best friend! I love you so much @thesergiogarcia #austin #texas #teamsergela.” The couple got engaged on January 6, a little over two years into their relationship.
