Great minds think alike! Carole Middleton took style inspiration from her oldest daughter Kate for her latest Wimbledon appearance on Wednesday. The Middleton matriarch attended the London tennis tournament for a third time on July 12 wearing a tiered dress very similar to one the Duchess of Cambridge wore back in September during her royal tour of Canada.

The royal's 62-year-old mother opted for a blue and white embroidered, elbow-length sleeve dress by British brand Rumour London. Meanwhile Prince William’s wife sported a bespoke long sleeve dress that retailed for over $5,000 from Alexander McQueen’s Resort 2017 collection, which featured a high-neck collar and red broderie anglaise pattern number, for her trip across the pond.

Like her daughter, Carole accessorized her striking frock with a clutch handbag, though she chose to wear navy open toe sandals unlike her daughter’s red pumps. Kate's mom isn't her only relative mimicking her style these days. Last month, Princess Anne's daughter-in-law Autumn Phillips stepped out wearing Carole's Rumour London dress to the Royal Ascot.
