Jennifer Lopez took a moment to celebrate her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez's new business endeavor on Wednesday. The World of Dance judge reposted a CNBC Instagram photo of the former Yankees Star on her personal account, which announced that her beau is set to become the first Hispanic shark on Shark Tank. The post also included a quote from A-Rod's recent appearance at the eMerge Americas conference in Miami that read: "The fact that (Hispanics) contribute over a trillion dollars annually to the economy is just a phenomenal feat."

The retired baseball player added, "I think in D.C. and other business communities, we should be having really smart conversations on how to double that number.” It was revealed back in May that Jennifer's boyfriend would be joining the ABC show as a guest judge. Alex, 41, who is the founder of A-Rod Corp — a company that focuses on real estate investing — was one of the keynote speakers during the eMerge Americas conference in Miami on Tuesday, June, 13. The world series champion spoke to CNBC about the connection between his old and new ventures.
“You know, business is like a sport,” the former Yankee, 41, said. “You’ve gotta put in your 10,000 hours and it takes time.” The dad-of-two continued, "And for me, my philosophy is slow and steady will win the race and there's no reason to be in a rush." Though it isn't all work and no play for the baseball legend. Over the weekend, supported his 47-year-old girlfriend at her All I Have residency show in Las Vegas.
