Princess Isabella of Denmark looks all grown up in a new portraits for her 10th birthday

Princess Isabella of Denmark has reached a major milestone! On April 21, the Danish royal celebrated her tenth birthday. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princes Mary’s daughter looked on trend and ready for spring in the three new photos taken by photographer Steen Evald. In one photo, Isabella posed in a navy dress that featured frilled sleeves. The young Princess accessorized her look with gold bracelets and a drop necklace, while wearing her long, glossy brunette locks down in loose waves.

In the same outfit, Isabella posed for a close up shot, showing off her light eyes. A final picture featured Crown Princess Mary’s oldest daughter leaning against a mirror. The birthday girl sported a more casual look for the third photo wearing a stripe shirt and dark pants. The Danish Palace also marked Queen Margrethe’s granddaughter’s day with an official monogram.

The official stamp, which was created by graphic designer Charlotte Søeborg Ohlsen with the help of Steen Ejlers, is Isabella’s official mark of identification. The monogram is made up of the Princess's first name initial, “I,” with a royal crown placed on the top. The Denmark royals have a long tradition of using monograms for decorative and functional purposes. It can be used as a personal hallmark for objects, gifts, stationary and jewelry.

Last week, Isabella made an official appearance alongside her parents and siblings, Prince Christian, 11, Princess Josephine, six, and Prince Vincent, six, during their paternal grandmother, Queen Margrethe's 77th birthday celebration. The young fashionista-in-the-making looked chic wearing a blue sweater over a peter pan collar as she stood on the balcony of Marselisborg Palace in Aarhus, Denmark with her family, waving to on-lookers during the festivities.
