Shakira had the cutest dance partner when rehearsing for her latest single. On Friday, the singer showed off her two-year-old son Sasha’s moves via her Instagram. “My favorite Bachata dancer,” the 40-year-old captioned the clip of the mommy-son moment, which shows her and the tot dancing along to Prince Royce’s latest single Deja vu. In the video, little Sasha rested his head on his mom’s shoulder as she swayed to the rhythm. Shakira, who also shares four-year-old son Milan with her partner Gerard Piqué, appears on the single and has been spending plenty of time working on her Bachata moves ahead of the video’s release.

“We continue practicing bachata for our video Deja Vu,” she captioned a post that shows her perfecting the Dominican dance with a choreographer. The new visuals will be the first time the blonde beauty has been back in the music scene since taking some time off to care for her children. In November, Shakira pulled out of her appearance at the Latin Grammys and the American Music Awards due to “personal matters.”
The Zootopia star followed up the news a week later with an update on Sasha’s health. “Thanks for all the messages you sent for Sasha while he was sick,” she posted on Instagram of the mother and son duo read in part. “Everything is under control now, and he’s back to his cheerful self!.” The Chantaje singer, who is currently working on a new Spanish language album, opened up about becoming a mother and how it shifted her priorities. “Becoming a mom forced me to re-prioritize and make room for the things that are most important,” she said in an interview with Parents Latina in 2015. “While recognizing that there are things I can let go of and the world won’t crumble around me.”
