Monaco's Beatrice Borromeo makes first appearance since welcoming son Stefano Casiraghi

Parents’ night out! Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi made their first official appearance less than three weeks after welcoming their son Stefano at Monaco’s annual Rose Ball on Saturday evening. The Monaco royals exuded glamour for the occasion stepping out with Pierre’s mother Princess Caroline and sister Charlotte Casiraghi.

Beatrice showed off her post-baby body wearing a navy floor-length, embellished gown. The first-time mom accessorized her look with diamond drop earrings, while sweeping her tresses up into a sophisticated bun. Pierre tenderly protected his wife at the event, placing his arms around her. Beatrice adoringly gazed at her husband as they swayed on the dance floor. Like her sister-in-law, Charlotte Casiraghi also wowed at the ball borrowing one of her mother’s old Chanel gowns, which Caroline wore to the 2000 Dances Forum. For the event on March 18, Princess Caroline, 60, wore a ruffled black and white Chanel design.

The Monaco royal expressed her joy in a joint statement with Beatrice’s mom Countess Donna Paola Marzotto, following the birth of her fourth grandchild. The statement read: “The Princess of Hanover and the Countess Paola Marzotto have the joy of announcing the birth of their grandson born on 28 February 2017. The mother and the child are doing well.” HOLA! learned on February 28 that Beatrice and Pierre had welcomed their first child together. The pair named their son — Stefano Ercole Carlo — after Pierre’s father Stefano Casiraghi, who tragically died in 1990 as a result of a sailing accident.
