Lady Gaga gave an incredible performance last Sunday at the Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Her fans and millions of spectators around the world praised her performance, but there were also detractors, who rather than look at her choreography or voice, criticized the body of the 30 year old singer.

"I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too," began her message. "No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions. thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga."

Gaga's response to her critics was very gracious and her fans celebrated the diplomacy she had to keep from getting carried away by those who harassed her. After her half-time show, the artist announced her 'Joanne World Tour', which will begin in August in Vancouver and end in December in Salt Lake City.
