The leader of Maroon 5 and The Voice coach,Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, welcomed their first child on Wednesday, as reported by People. Birth details are still reserved for family and friends of the singer, who along with the model announced they were expecting their first baby back in March.
Excited to debut as parents, Adam and Behati revealed in April that their baby was a girl, whose name has not been confirmed, but there are rumors that they will call her Dusty Rose Levine. While waiting for the baby, Levine shared various stages of his wife's pregnancy through his Instagram account. The picture that most pleased their fans was when they took a selfie comparing tummies and he titled: “Week 20 and I'm finally popping! #ImPregnantToo".
Adam could not hide the happiness her tiny daughter gave him even before being born. The proud dad talked to E! News and shared in his words how excited he was about meeting the baby and his thoughts on fatherhood. "It's wonderful. I'm gonna be a dad. Oh, I'm excited," said the coach of The Voice, who also confessed that he plans to spoil his little daughter.
Every time he could, Levine spoke about the stage that was about to start, even joked that he seeks to have a big family. "I want like 17 children. Is it reasonable?" He asked during a talk with Catt Sadler. "I really love children. I love to see children on the set," he added with a big smile and a twinkle in his eyes that betrayed his desire to have his daughter in his arms.
In order to be near his wife when the baby arrives, Adam canceled several of his shows. And with the idea of enjoying the first few days of his daughter’s life, it’s likely he will stay away from the stage for a few weeks. Congratulations to the happy parents!
