Already established as one of the most elegant women in the world, Carolina Herrera exceeds all expectations with every new collection. The Frick Gallery on the Upper East Side, was the scene of the last runway show of the designer during the New York Fashion Week, an idyllic courtyard that transported the audience out of the city for a few hours.
Considered the queen of elegance, Carolina presented her last collection in collaboration with Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, founders of Monse and new creative directors of Oscar de la Renta. Denim was the protagonist of this new collection, leaving behind the idea that the material is only for informal occasions. Herrera proved that a flawless design is the foundation of elegance, no matter the fabric used for it.
The combination of black and white colors also dominated jacket and skirt suits and dresses. Her iconic wrap dresses with halter neck had an important participation as well as metallic fabrics and belts.
