Everything you need to know about Marc Anthony's ex-wife Dayanara Torres

The world first met Dayanara Torres back in 1993, when she became Miss Universe at just 18. Since then, the Boricua stunner has been perpetually in the limelight. Her talents brought her to TV, including a role in the iconic primetime TV drama, The Young and the Restless. She ushered in the new millennium marrying singing superstar Marc Anthony, although their bliss was short  – only 4 years – they have two beautiful sons together, Cristian and Ryan, who they famously continue to co-parent as friendly exes. 

The Beauty Queen

A big favorite since the get-go, Dayanara celebrated her 18th birthday just seven months before she was crowned as Miss Universe in Mexico City. "I was a baby," she said in 2019, reflecting on how her elder son is the same age as she was when she was named the most beautiful woman in the universe.

Like any self-respecting queen, Dayanara tied the knot in spectacular fashion!  Here she is entering the church at Old San Juan back in 2002 when she married Marc Anthony in a beautiful Catholic ceremony.

Proud mom

Dayanara is a doting mom to her two boys Cristian and Ryan, with which she shares everything, from lush vacations to stay-at-home movie nights.

On February 4th, 2019, Dayanara Torres revealed to the world through her Instagram profile, that she’s battling skin cancer, but that she’s optimistic and ready to win this battle.

Mamá’s girl

Fame and global success are nothing compared to the embrace of your mamá, and Dayanara Torres is truly aware of that. She never misses a special moment with her rock, her mother Jinny Torres. In 2019 she wrote on social media as she started cancer treatment: "With my queen mom taking me by the hand, my beautiful [son] Ryan always making me feel good," Dayanara added, "I am never alone, my heart is full of joy."
