The 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire and held at the Garden Arena at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday night, were all about talent, glamour and emotion. Carrie Underwood made an emotional comeback after a devastating accident, and Blake Shelton, meanwhile, belted I Lived It as his girlfriend Gwen Stefani sang along in the crowd. The big winners of the evening included Miranda Lambert – Blake's ex-wife – and Chris Stapleton, who took home Album of the Year for From a Room: Vol. 1. The star wasn’t there to accept the award as he was in Nashville, Tennessee awaiting the birth of his twins so Reba accepted the award on his behalf.
Stars also paid tribute to the victims of last year's devastating Las Vegas shooting with Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Thomas Rhett taking the stage to address the tragedy, during which a gunman tragically took the lives of 58 fans and left hundreds more injured.
