The 2017 Miss Universe pageant took place live from Las Vegas on Sunday, November 26. Comedian Steve Harvey returned as host with model Ashley Graham serving as co-host for the event. Nicky Hilton's family threw her a baby shower ahead of Thanksgiving. The expectant mom posed with sister Paris, mom Kathy and daughter Lily at the tea party. It was announced in July that Nicky and her husband James Rothschild are expanding their family. The couple, who are already parents to their one-year-old daughter still do not know the gender of their second child. “I’ve waited this long. Selena Gomez attended the 2017 Breaking Through Lupus Gala hosted by the Lupus Research Alliance on November 20 in NYC. The Wolves singer opened up about her personal struggles with the illness. “I am really honored to be here with all of you guys tonight, my Lupus community,” the 25-year-old said during the event that raised $3.2 million for research. Selena went on to thank the doctors who provided her with the correct information about the illness – and those who saved her during the “life or death” kidney transplant she underwent earlier this year. "One of my best friends gave me her kidney and it was the ultimate gift of life. And I am doing quite well now," she said. The Victoria’s Secret Angels took flight on Monday, November 20, at the lingerie brand’s annual fashion show. Lily Aldridge, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Taylor Hill, Jasmine Tookes and more traveled to Shanghai, China for this year’s sexy show. While the Angels always look like a million bucks, Lais Ribeiro wore more than that amount on the runway modeling the $2 million Fantasy Bra. Former Angel Karlie Kloss came out of VS retirement for the sparkling affair. Supermodel Bella Hadid, who made her VS runway debut in 2016, also returned for the 2017 show. Alessandra Ambrosio said goodbye to Victoria's Secret after the VS Fashion Show in Shanghai. For her final runway with the brand, she had her daughter Anja sitting front row.
