Mother-daughter duo Pink and Willow Sage stole the show at the CMA awards as they walked the red carpet together in tulle dresses, looking every inch the pair of country princesses. Six-year-old Willow even wore a tiara! Sharing the moment with her daughter made the singer “happy”, she said in a tweet.
Pink also confessed that being invited to the event was “a dream come true”. She later changed into a black evening gown to perform at the Nashville, Tennesee, event.

Niall Horan turned a little bit country for the CMAs when he joined Maren Morris on stage to perform their duet Seeing Blind.
The song is off the former One Direction singer's first solo album Flicker. After the news of this performance was announced, Maren tweeted: “See you soon, CMA! @NiallOfficial & I are gonna have SO much fun playing that legendary stage! #IrishCountryExplosion”

Carrie Underwood didn't have just one outfit change when she hosted the CMAs for the 10th time, she had 11! The mom-of-one walked the carpet in a cobalt Fouad Sarkis gown with embellished sleeves (far right) and Anabela Chan jewels.
Throughout the night, she then changed into an assortment of looks that ranged from a sequined jumpsuit with cape to a hot pink A-lined dress to a printed mini as well as a maroon-sequined cape gown.

Garth Brooks won Entertainer of the Year at the 2017 CMAs. He was presented the honor by Reba McEntire to which he said: “Getting this presented to me by the entertainer of a lifetime, I thank you.”
The 55-year-old performer continued: “Miranda [Lambert] said it best, Little Big Town said it best — we’re a family. All you guys down here on the front row: We can all agree on one thing. Let’s all raise a toast. … to the band and crew. I was talking to Kelsea [Ballerini] backstage about how we get to do this for a living. … The most important thing other than God…is you [fans]. …I love you guys. We’re a family.”
He then wrapped with a message for his wife of almost twelve years, "Ms. Yearwood, I am yours forever.”
Backstage, the Friends in Low Places singer admitted to not singing live on the show. “We’re in the middle of 12 shows in 10 days. Not 10 shows in 12 days, 12 shows in 10 days,” he said. “We did a game-time call on whether to sing the track or lip-sync, and decided to lip-sync. The voice just isn’t there anymore, and you want to represent country music as best you can.”

While Taylor watched the show from NYC ahead of her SNL appearance, the group stated to the audience: "We didn't write this. We're really grateful that Philip checked his email one night and that song was in his email. We want to say thanks to Taylor Swift. She couldn't be here tonight with us."
They continued, "Taylor, wherever you are, thank you for writing this beautiful song, and loving songs and loving Nashville. To the fans, to country radio, thanks for being so good to us."
