Celebrity dads whose sons are making names for themselves in entertainment

Graced with their A-list parent's good looks, charm and talent, these celebrity offspring – from Jude Law's model son Rafferty to Denzel Washington's son, 'Ballers' star John David Washington – are making a name for themselves in Hollywood and beyond. JACK MARSDEN James Marsden’s look-alike teenage son is gearing up for his big Hollywood break. The teenager caught the attention of many attending the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards with his famous father, where he opened up about his career aspirations. "I'm going to try and do music," Jack revealed to E! News after his father admitted, "My time is over. I'm literally passing on the baton to the next generation." JOHN DAVID WASHINGTON
John David Washington caused an online frenzy when news broke that the handsome new TV star was Hollywood legend Denzel Washington’s son. John’s famous father may have surprised many but the two have joined forces before in films Book of Eli and Malcom X. His break out role as Ricky Jarrett on HBO’s hit series Ballers shows how art imitates life as the 31-year-old was a professional American footballer for the St. Louis Rams before he got his big break on TV.

RAFFERTY LAW
This 5ft 9in blonde stole everyone’s attention in a video campaign for Tiger of Sweden last year before they realised he was Jude Law’s son. Graced with his father’s piercing blue eyes, cheeky grin and smouldering features it’s no wonder the 18-year-old has been a success in the modelling world. Since making his catwalk debut on the DKNY runway last year, Rafferty has gone on to land numerous magazine covers, campaigns and has just been named the newest face of London’s luxury jewellery brand Effra. Rafferty also sings and plays guitar in a band called Dirty Harry’s which he started with his friend, Marley Mackay. Most recently, Rafferty was seen accompanying his mum Sadie Frost, at the premiere of her new film Buttercup Bill in London.

DYLAN BROSNAN
The name Is Brosnon… Dylan Brosnan. His father Pierce, 54, made his mark on the big screen for his swoon worthy portrayal of James Bond and now his 18-year-old son is creating a name for himself in the modelling world. His breakthrough was the result of chance as Saint Laurent’s creative director, Hedi Slimane spotted the 6ft 1in stud on the beach in Malibu and immediately signed him. The model and aspiring musician hopes however to have a career in politics and has already interned with Senator Ed Markey.

MAX IRONS
Max Irons not only inherited his father Jeremy’s good looks, he also got his sultry voice and his acting skills. The 29-year-old hottie has modeled for Macy’s private label INC, Burberry and Mango and has showed off his acting chops in several hit films like The Riot Club, Red Riding Hood and The Host. The British charmer has also just wrapped his latest film Bitter Harvest. Fans hoping to see the two Irons leading men together on the silver screen may have to wait a while as Max has his doubts. “That’s my nightmare…that would be really difficult,” he says. “He’s a force of nature, I’ll put it that way; he likes to make his voice heard on set, and I wouldn’t be able to disentangle father and actor.”

SCOTT EASTWOOD
Fans all over the world were left swooning when a young Clint Eastwood lookalike graced the pages of Town & Country’s 2014’s September issue and after much speculation it turned out that the 6ft 2in all American hunk was in fact the son of 85-year-old Clint Eastwood. Since then, the 29-year-old has been named the face of Davidoff’s new fragrance Cool Water and has even starred in several blockbuster films including Fury and The Longest Ride. Scott has also just finished filming Suicide Squad which co-stars acting heavyweights Will Smith, Ben Affleck, Viola Davis and Jared Leto.

HOPPER JACK PENN
Milan Fashion Week’s elite were left doing a complete double take when Sean Penn’s son Hopper Jack showed up to the Salvatore Ferragamo SS16 show. Rocking a stylish blue suit, the 22-year-old had his dad’s signature smirk and cool confident demeanour down to a tee. Hopper first appeared on everyone’s radar in 2011 when he made a short film called Back in the Game, which tells the story of a cowboy who goes on a psychedelic adventure, meeting beautiful models along the way. Hopper seems destined for fame, not only did he inherit his parent’s looks and acting skills (mom is Robin Wright pictured here with Sean in 1996), but he’s also named after the late Dennis Hopper and Oscar winner Jack Nicholson.

PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER
The hunky gene certainly runs in the Schwarzenegger family as Arnold’s son Patrick is the spitting image of his father during his bodybuilding days. The 22-year old has graced the pages of V Man and Interview magazines and has landed major campaigns including Hudson Jeans and Tom Ford’s AW14 campaign where he appeared alongside model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid. Miley Cyrus’s former flame has also appeared in several films including Grown Ups 2 and teen romcom, Stuck In Love.
