The 13-year-old was seen out and about with her family weeks after her surgery

Weeks after her reported hip surgery, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, is out enjoying a great afternoon with her mom and her siblings Zahara, 15, Vivienne and Knox, 11. In a piece written by Angelina for Time Magazine in honor of International Women’s Day, the actress revealed that Shiloh, along with her daughter Zahara, had both had surgeries recently. On Monday, March 9, Shiloh (who is in crutches from her hip surgery) went on a shopping and movie date with some of the Jolie-Pitt clan.

During their outing, Angelina and her youngest daughter Vivienne could be seen holding floral bouquets wrapped in brown paper as Shiloh walked ahead of them. The Oscar-winning actress was seen sporting her signature oversized sunglasses and a black maxi dress. Her long brown locks were styled in a sleek-straight style, which is rocks often. Zahara was sporting a plaid oversized dress with white sneakers, while Shiloh rocked black Converse sneakers, shorts and a hoodie. Twins Vivienne and Knox rocked same colored shirts (in a light gray color) and jeans.

Mom Angelina has been spending a lot of time with her daughters over the last few months as two of her daughters were operated on. In this time she had reflected on the strength of her girls. “I have spent the last two months in and out of surgeries with my eldest daughter and days ago watched her younger sister go under the knife for a hip surgery,” Angelina began in her essay for Time Magazine. They know that I am writing this, because I respect their privacy and we discussed it together and they encouraged me to write. They understand that going through medical challenges and fighting to survive and heal is something to be proud of.

She continued, “I have watched my daughters care for one another. My youngest daughter studied the nurses with her sister, and then assisted the next time. I saw how all my girls so easily stopped everything and put each other first, and felt the joy of being of service to those they love. I also watched them face fears with a resolute bravery. We all know that moment when no one else can help us, and all we can do is close our eyes and breathe. When only we can take the next step or breath through the pain, so we steady ourselves and do it.
