What is Lollapalooza? It's a four-day music extravaganza held annually held in Chicago, Illinois, although there are international versions as well. The festival, now one of the most popular in the US, began in back in 1991 as a farewell tour for the 1990s rock band Jane’s Addiction. After the first installment, the event continued for the following six years before it was put to rest and revived in 2003. And for Lollapalooza 2019 in the Windy City, J Balvin will make history as the first Latin music headliner to take the stage as he joins the likes of Ariana Grande at the music fest.
Since the 2003 revival of the tour, the festival has had its ups and downs, but is now a destination festival for teenagers and adults around the world. The four day party for music lovers is held annually not only in the United States but also in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, France, and Germany.
