Queen Letizia took a page out of Kate Middleton’s style book for her recent engagement. The Spanish monarch was a vision in white as she stepped out on Monday, June 19 for the El Arte De Educar (The Art of Educating) school program at Madrid’s El Prado Museum. The 44-year-old royal recycled her BOSS peplum jacket, which she paired with her Felipe Varela chiffon knife-pleated skirt for the outing. King Felipe’s wife accessorized her chic look with blush Magrit heels and a matching clutch.

Letizia’s latest stylish ensemble evoked memories of one previously worn by Prince William’s wife, 35. In what was her first public appearance since marrying into the British royal family in 2011, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the Epsom Derby wearing an all-white outfit. The then-newly minted royal wore a tweed Joseph jacket over a flowing white dress by the high-street label Reiss. Like Letizia, Kate completed her sophisticated outfit with neutral accessories, including her L.K. Bennett pumps and a clutch by the same British designer. Perhaps the main difference between the Queen and Duchess' white looks was Kate's Whiteley fascinator at the racecourse. Nonetheless, the royal women have proven once again that great — stylish —minds think alike.
