Eva Longoria launches a new line of denim with all body types in mind

Eva Longoria wants women to not only look good but also to feel good in her new denim collection. Jose Baston’s wife opened up about her new line that includes all white denim that “act like spanx.” The actress shared with People, "It sucks everything in, and in the right places. It's not super thin denim that shows all the flaws in your body. This is a really structured denim with a four way stretch that's complimentary and allows you to wear that white jean. And the white jean in my denim line is my favorite!"

The 42-year-old businesswoman designed the collection with her siblings and parents in mind, as her "family comes in all different sizes." Eva added that she "wanted to make sure that [her] line was accessible for the everyday woman." The collection is available in sizes 0 through 18 with options for petite women. “Fashion is always evolving, but chic style is truly timeless,” a post on the Eva Longoria collection Instagram posted last week read in part. “That’s the inspiration behind the Reinvented Classics. We’ve taken tried-and-true pieces and given them a dash of a little something special. Like this new take on the oxford shirt—I just love the pleated detail on the back! Paired with bright white jeans, it’s the perfect spring look. #reinventedclassics#evalongoriacollection.”

This isn't the first time that the former Desperate Housewives star has dipped her toes into fashion design. Eva teamed up with The Limited where she designed her own collection for the brand. The star explains that her last collection was more "from work to wine," while her new line is "a little younger and more casual" than before. "There are still dresses and work wear, but for spring we have a lot of sundresses in fun prints and colors. It feels a little lighter than my fall collection," she said.
