Princess Diana’s niece Lady Kitty Spencer wears Kate Middleton-inspired dress

Lady Kitty Spencer found the perfect summer dressed inspired by her cousin-in-law Kate Middleton. Princess Diana’s 26-year-old niece — who is the oldest daughter of the late Princess of Wales’ brother Charles Spencer — attended the Cartier Queen's Cup Polo final on Sunday in Egham, England sporting the “Middleton Bow-embellished Cady Midi Dress” by Dolce & Gabbana.

The elegant frock was named after the Duchess of Cambridge, who wore an altered, forest green version of the dress last September during her royal tour of Canada. The original design, which featured an embroidered Alice in Wonderland pocket watch motif, was a part of the Italian brand's fall 2016 collection, though Kate opted for a version without the gold embroidery.

“The Middleton” is currently available in both green and white on net-a-porter.com and retails for $2,675. The site describes the dress as "evocative of styles from the '40s" and suggests wearing the number to spring events with metallic heels. The white chiffon-trimmed piece features pearlescent buttons and a neat bow, in addition to puffed sleeves at the shoulders. Unlike Kate, who paired the dress wearing her glossy tresses down, Kitty swept her golden locks up into a ponytail for her day at the Guards Polo Club.

Prince William’s cousin took to Instagram to share photos from the event, which Her Majesty also attended on June 18. “Coordinated & fresh,” Kitty captioned a Boomerang video of herself with friends, while writing “Best day @cartier polo” alongside a video of her posing with Cartier bellmen.
