"The party was truly an epic Arabian night! Having Lauryn Hill perform was the cherry on top. Princess Deena transported all of us to a magical setting," Julissa told HOLA! USA. Naomi turned heads at the event wearing a spellbinding powder blue chiffon and pearlescent lace couture abaya (a robe-like dress worn by some Muslim women) from Ralph & Russo’s spring/summer 2017 collection.
Meanwhile the host of the evening, editor-in-chief Princess Deena stunned for the occasion donning a show-stopping, custom-made Zac Posen gown, which she paired a matching scarlet headscarf. “It was a dream that someday we would get Vogue into the region, but never in a million years did I imagine I would be at the helm of it,” the Saudi royal confessed (via WWD) at the party. “I hope everyone leaves with a meaningful memory of Arabia,” Princess Deena said. “I feel the job Vogue Arabia is to bridge east and west and show what we share, rather than what sets us apart.”
